Gaga has cited Montenegrin performance artist Marina Abramović as one of her main inspirations and influences when she was on Larry King, so that buys her some respect from me. She was there for the Abramović retrospective a couple of months ago at the MoMA in NY.

Lady Gaga's songs are boring. That's the only real opinion I have on her. Though to criticize her for being a publicity hound seems a bit strange when it is pretty much a prerequisite for her chosen career.

Professional fireworks displays are boring. Fireworks are no fun unless there is some risk of personal injury.
Lighting the fuse and then running away is not very dangerous. Lighting the fuse and then picking up the canister and pointing it at the people around you, all the while laughing maniacally... that's pretty dangerous.

On point 1 I would say, if it's speed your after, cook the food on the stovetop or your oven. Grilling, to me at least, is something to be done when you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the process, not when you need to get food on the table in a hurry. Slow down, have a beer. The food's done when it's done.
On point 2, you can cook your food evenly on just about any grill if you cut it right, position your coals correctly, and flatten the meat to a consistent thickness where appropriate.
On point 3, I call bullshit. There's no way a steak cooked on an infrared grill can taste anywhere as good as a steak cooked on a charcoal grill. No way.
So, long way to go about it, I say it's not worth the money. If it's a grill you're after, you can't go wrong with a simple weber. If you want more grill surface and a grill that doubles as a smoker, spend some extra cash on a Brinkmann Pitmaster. Either of those options will likely cost less than an infrared grill.
