It bugs me when people lump LOST and Heroes together as shows that have good first seasons and then just became disappointing. Compare those two shows' first seasons. It's night and day in quality. Heroes can be fun, but the writing and acting are so dire most of the time. LOST, regardless of the writers' competence in building the mythology, had top notch acting and beautiful stories for its characters from the get go. If there was a problem with LOST, it's that they had a hard time figuring out where to go. With Heroes, it was more a matter of the fun parts no longer being fun and the shortcomings becoming impossible to hide anymore.
But anyway, I'd like to be invisible.
I only ever saw the first season of Heroes. It was... okay... but never anything to compare to Lost (any season.) And although Lost had some lumpy arcs, it was never "bad." It just wandered into "less awesome" sometimes.
I'm not lumping them together at all. I was immensely disappointed with the final revelation, the last couple of minutes of the entire show. I recognize the superior... everything of the six season. Heroes never had a chance to disappoint me, hence my comment.

Kurt Busiek wrote that issue of X-Men I love explaining why Quicksilver is such a temperamental dick all the time. Have you ever been at an ATM, and you really just want to get in, get your money and leave? But there's an old lady there taking her time, not knowing what she's doing, reading every screen carefully, and you're just stuck in line waiting and waiting and getting more and more annoyed? It's like that for Quicksilver... ALL THE TIME.

I mentioned this years ago, but if I could pick any super power, it would be the ability to just pick up a musical instrument and be an expert at it.
Just got back from the dentist. One filling, one pulled wisdom tooth, deep gum and teeth cleaning, 7 shots.
Remember back when meg said he didn't understand why people hated going to the dentist. This is why.
Being a speedster would be sweet, but only till you had it down. Then you would realize the whole world was just moving super slow, and want to kill yourself.
Wolverine-type regeneration would be a nice rounded ability. You can learn kung fu.
