This is news to me. I seem to recall tons of trailers where two people have guns pointed at each other but the more I think about it, the more it was probably all assumed off camera or cut like in the trailer above.Quote:

The Marvel "Streaming" Universe is coming in 2015 with Luke Cage and Daredevil.
Man, after 10 years and a re-watch last night, it's become pretty clear that Ang Lee's Hulk was something pretty damn special.
Top tier stuff.

I've seen Ang Lee's Hulk on TV many times in the past few years, sometimes in HD. There is no question that its effects have aged badly.
But the movie is still compelling - definitively the most personal and creative superhero film.

The gamma dogs were bad for sure, but Hulk looked freaking fantastic, and the overall look and feel of the movie was amazing.
I loved the recurring, haunting image of jellyfish floating over the red desert sands.
No, I think the movie looked pretty great.

I just watched the tank scene on youtube and yeh, it's probably better than anything in the 08 movie.

I've always been a big fan of Bruce Jones' Hulk work, so the handling of Hulk as both a literal and metaphorical monster was something I really loved.
I also like Ang Lee's take of the father-son "Greek tragedy" dynamic, all culminating in a literal Olympian God-like battle in the clouds, full of lightning and thunder, with images frozen on the cloud mists like comic book pages. It tied everything together stylistically.

It took a few rewatchings for Lee's version to click for me, and that's only on the 'comic book to expirimental film' side rather than a good Hulk film. I would say I prefer Leterrier's version as well, but I still have fingers crossed for a DC someday.Quote:

I assumed the character of Apocalypse would be coming, but if that is indeed the last "prequel" film in this trilogy then I wonder if they will adapt an existing storyline or create a new one. Obviously as it relates to X-Men proper, I think he is mainly remembered for the "Age of Apocalypse," which is far too much story, though I guess they could without too much trouble move from Days of Future Past's story into Apocalypse's.
He has also been in many other stories as well. This is also all baseless conjecture, which is so much fun! This will probably not even be about the character at all...
Eh, I think in this day and age, if you're gonna make an X-Men movie called "Apocalypse", it better be about the villain.
