Thanks, Sven! So glad you could come out, means a lot to me.

The show could not have gone any better. Pretty much a perfect night. I'm still buzzin' from the energy. Probably the best show I've ever played, at least that's how I remember it.

Congrats on the concert, D!

So thefourthwall and I were on our way back to Ohio to visit my family for some post-semester money earning. Two hours into the eight hour trip, a car coming the opposite direction makes a left turn across our lane because they didn't see us. One "Oh fuck" and failed braking later (though I braked down from 60 to under 30 before we collided), the front end of my car is shot and headed to the shop. The upside: the kids driving the other car were contrite that the accident was their fault, and the repair shop are friends of the family, so we'll have a rental vehicle for free. We come out of the accident pretty good, all told; a little bit of neck pain for myself, and some scabbed knees for Sarah. Could've been much worse. Humorously, we're back in Illinois and will be attempting to make the same drive again tomorrow. :| Gotta love road trips.

Glad you're all ok. I've been first on scene at a couple accidents, one similiar to this. One ended up with a spiral hip fracture.

The other one was significantly more bloody.

Yeah, so I'm not getting a Droid. I guess I didn't think it through, but my wife wanted a Blackberry and I wanted the Droid and I knew there were extra data pack fees, but $30/month per phone? Really??? I'm sorry, but they are not getting an extra $720 a year from me for my phone, not to mention our plan already costs with taxes and fees well over $100/month now.

It's just ridiculous.

Thanks guys. He was a real stand up guy. The kind of guy that would - and did - throw down to protect a friend, and at the same time a dude he could just give you the biggest hug and make you laugh.

It's weird how the composition I started this morning and recorded in the afternoon would reflect the tone and feelings of this evening.

Had a great morning and afternoon, just to see it all go to shit with the passing of an old friend and some very emotional drama.
