Vin Diesel is teasing some kind of "merging of brands" within the Marvel cinematic universe.

Hmmm...

Ant-Man is moving up three months to July 31, 2015.

I was about to say I'm glad they appear to be sticking with the demo reel outfit, but then I realized this picture could be from that shoot. No indication when the picture was taken.

Although some are theorizing this could be from an upcoming post credits teaser.

It is from the demo reel. They haven't even begun shooting or casting yet.

And yet they made Agent Carter the one for the Iron Man 3 release? This isn't to say I'm against this in the slightest. Just seems odd if they plan to pair it up with the Thor 2 Blu-ray or something.

It'd be cool if they started showing new One-Shots during Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., like a G.I. Joe PSA sort of digression at the end or an episode.

"The Consultant" was on Thor instead of Hulk. "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer" was on Captain America instead of Thor. "Agent Carter" was on Iron Man 3 instead of Captain America.

They're not really produced specifically to be accompanying bonus features. Marvel Studios president Louis D'Esposito makes them for fun (allows him to be a creative instead of a suit for a change, I guess) to screen at Comic-Con and they just put them on whatever's hitting home video next.

Does SHIELD play a big role in Winter Soldier?

The movie is about SHIELD. Almost every character in it is a part of SHIELD.

Oh. I guess that makes sense. Are we expecting appearances from the Avengers then?

edit: Action-packed, but there's little to gleam as per the story as it's all rather vague, but perhaps that's a good thing. I predict decent time at the movies, but not much else. I'm growing tired of Samuel L. Jackson, maybe I'm growing tired of superheroes when they're not called The Avengers. The Russo's seem like such an odd choice for helmers.
