Fuck yes. Bring it.
Oh btw, Netflix is producing a Witcher TV series.
Just scoured Amazon Prime and found some unexpected things:
Boxer from Shantung
36th Chamber of Shaolin
Terrorizers
Peppermint Candy & Oasis
Loads of Pasolini (including Gospel According to St. Matthew)
Kiarostami I'd never heard of (Ten)
The Gleaners and I
Maren Ade's first film, The Forest For the Trees
Not current but upcoming. Netflix's Castlevania production is looking interesting so far (once you get past the sorta silly opening):

Okay.. I knew something was going to happen. My heart was beating through my chest the whole time.
WTF
The Mickey Mouse medallion at the end makes it for me.
Hey, Pedro Almodovar is creating a Netflix original series. Exciting.
They announced a ton of original Anime, including an original series from Ghost in the Shell studio (Production I.G)
There's concept art attached to a lo of the announcements.

Most importantly in that announcement is Yuasa Masaaki's new Devilman series.

I mean, fuuuuuuck, that looks good. So Yuasa.
I'm really curious about what Urobuchi Gen is doing with his writing on the Godzilla animated film.
It's really cool that Netflix funnels money into these studios to help them make their cool shit, but it's also kiiiiiinda a bummer for committed fans that this removes them from the legal simulcast channels..
I feel like they (Dinsey) just signed with Netflix - but sad to see even MORE movies leave Netflix.

With that, Letterman making a move to nEtflix.
With everyone starting their own streaming service, streaming will cost more than cable.
So stupid.
Don't worry. Once every network and studio has their own streaming service, there will be a company, possibly called DirectStream, that will start offering bundled packages of access to 100+ streaming services. But you may have to pay extra to get access to the most in-demand ones like Showtime Anytime and HBO Now.
Sounds like the future!
Amazon now has better streaming MOVIES than Netflix.
Cable can probably earn back some goodwill just by telling people how much their service actually costs. Their pricing is better guarded than government emails.
The various streaming services are turning into cable Ã* la carte, and it probably is a more expensive way to pay for content if you want a lot of options. But at the very least, it's fairly easy to understand what they cost, and that's the advantage they'll continue to have over cable.
They can't. If people knew how much they paid for ESPN relative to other channels they'd go apeshit.
Marvel and Star Wars standalone streaming services are still being considered, says Disney
^ Okay, that's a little weird
