Bat for Lashes -- "What's a Girl to Do?"
Beta Satan - Great Moments of Pleasure
Beta Satan - Up To No Good
This band is so damn exciting and all I've listened to are a couple of demos from their forthcoming debut.
Holy Fuck - "Echo Sam"
"Block Rockin' Beats", Chemical Brothers
Modest Mouse - "Styrofoam Boots/It's All Nice on Ice, Alright"
http://www.match-cut.org/showpost.ph...postcount=1527
guess we are pretty much soul mates now
The Residents - Hello Skinny
Clipse - "Chinese New Year"
"Ice Dance" - Edward Scissorhands soundtrack.
I don't think I could ever grow tired of an Elfman soundtrack.
Hampton Grease Band - "Evans"
A must for Beefheart or Zappa fans. The album, Music To Eat, was infamous for being the 2nd lowest-selling record in Columbia history, beaten out only by a yoga instruction record.
Guenther Kaufman - "So Much Tenderness"
aka the awesome song that plays at the end of Fassbinder's The American Soldier
Tragically Hip -- "Ahead by a Century"
Over the Hills and Far Away-Led Zeppelin. Highly underrated, and really awesome track off of one of their best albums.
The Kinks - Wicked Annabella
Stereolab - Anamorphose
Queen - Death on Two Legs
David Bowie - Sorrow
The Beatles - "Julia"
Pantha du Prince -- "Seeds of Sleep"
New Fiery Furnaces double live leak. Just delving in, and it won't be fully digested for a few days, but no dissapointment so far once I adjusted to the hack'n'slash patch-work medley aesthetic.
88-Keys - Wasting My Minutes feat. Kid Cudi
probably my favorite hip hop song of the year so far
Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots Pt. 1-The Flaming Lips. Pulpy, campy, pop piece that is simply awesome.
Santogold - "L.E.S. Artistes"
...I hope it will be worth what I give up.
That pretty much describes my romantic situation at the moment.
