If someone were to ask me the difference between Dark Souls and Skyrim, what would I say?
That video sold me too. Never played one of the Elder Scrolls games before but I'm definitely getting that. I also got a real Red Dead Redemption vibe from it - the landscape reminded me of the woodsy, snowy northern section of RDR where all the bears are.
Dark Souls is more skill based in its gameplay while Skyrim is more stats-based. I think this is evident in the combat. And I'm not saying one is better than the other. Just different.Quote:

I half agree here. Skyrim's world is supposed to be even larger than Fallout 3's. Which appeals to me a lot. However, the theme of the game does not.Quote:

I don't remember how long I fucking stared at Azrael's map before I could figure it out. That was frustrating as hell.

Yeah, it's a huge set of doors on the ground. Kind of hard to miss.
