I've always hated that sense of self-entitlement that some elderly people get. That, combined with that ridiculous "everything about young people is BAD!" mentality really gives old people a bad rap, even though it's a slim percentage of them who act this way.

Hmm... Thinking about volunteering for the Peace Corps.
My lease would be up sometime next year, I could move all my stuff in a storage facility or with family. I have no kids and fire jobs won't be any easier to come by. The only thing I'd have to do is find someone to watch my dog, and I'm sure the family would do that.
Hmm... 27 months. I have medical training. We'll see. There's a recruiting meeting next Saturday. I'll find out more then.
Anyone have experience or know anyone that's participated? I'd like to know.
