I downloaded the single with various remixes...but I think it is on the soundtrack for 21.

"Only" - Nine Inch Nails
"The People United Will Never Be Defeated" by Frederic Rzewski
Portishead - "We Carry On"
Goddamn, this song's amazing.
Cut Copy - "That Was Just a Dream"
Most of her best stuff beyond Black Christ is on the chronological classics series, so if they've got any of those from the mid-40's definitely snatch 'em up: you may like Mary Lou's Mass best though, if BCotA gone blaxploitation sounds up yr alley.
Any Sublime Frequencies? It's my new obsession. The two volumes of psych-pop, etc. from Myanmar are especially good.
Rusty Santos - "Demon"
"Welcome to the Terrordome" - Pharoahe Monch
With each listen I like this album more and more. It's probably my favorite hip hop album released last year.
MGMT - "Electric Feel"
"she was built, like a old bass fiddle"
Hot Skillet Mama – Sun Ra
The Prodigy -- Hotride
Lots and lots of Galaxie 500.
Shelley Hirsch - War of Dreams
Man, the Friedbergers really have snatched most of their post-BB moves from Shelley's book, 'long wif Bongwater.
Agalloch -- "Not Unlike the Waves"
Es - "Kaikkeuden kauneus ja käsittämättömyys"
I <3 Fonal.
Yeah, they're consistently great from what I've heard and I love that cut-and-paste is necessary when mentioning almost any song or album on the label. :) Been meaning to check Es out, but I'm waiting for the mood to strike. I have Sateenkaarisuudelma (longest single word album title ever?)...is anything else worth checking out?
Only got the album that tracks's from (same name), but it's one of the best purchases I've made this year. It's a bit Sigur Ros-y, only way more gauzy/droney. I also have a DVD of experimental Super 8 films by the same guy, which is very much in the same vein as his music.

Flying Saucer Attack - "Beach Lullaby Song"
DSNT/Davis, any reason these guys were overlooked for the shoegaze thread? Not fans?
Ratatat - "Shiller"
Front Line Assembly -- "Bio-Mechanic"
Huh, forgot how great Tactical Neural Implants is...
Eugene McDaniels - Jagger the Dagger
SHIT, why I can't remember where I've heard this sampled?
EDIT: Duh, Stress: the Extinction Agenda. *slaps self*
the 24 Carat Black - 24 Carat Black Theme
Gettin' a huge "Vitamin C" vibe from the opening bassline/rhythm section.
