Amazing.
There's a clearance sale at a cool music store in the city, so a bunch of stuff from great labels (Smithsonian Folkways, Rune Grammafon, PSF, ECM, Fonal, ESP, etc) is on sale... I picked up Black Christ of the Andes and Leg End as well as Vol. 1 of PSF's Tokyo Flashback series, Sonny Sharrock's Black Woman, Islaja's Meritie and Shake Some Action by The Flamin' Groovies. I plan on grabbing a few more Williams CDs, and some others from the aformentioned labels. Any recos? (probably won't have all of them, but still...).
___________
Sonny Sharrock - "Black Woman"
The Goslings - "Little Horn"
Big step down from Grandeur of Hair - a little too single-mindedly heavy, rather than an amalgam - but still decent.
Akron/Family - "Don't Be Afraid, You're Already Dead"
Ween - "Friends"
"The Inner Light" by the Beatles
LCD Soundsystem - "Big Ideas"
Elbow - "The Loneliness of a Tower Crane Driver"
