pretty sure all these "1 month free" offers are based on the condition that after 1 month they will charge your credit card unless you cancel the subscription
Finally finished up Alice: Madness Returns. It's good to see an old school 3D platformer because they really don't make to much of those anymore. Unfortunately this one goes on for about twice as long as it needs to. There are five main chapters and each one should have had about 2 hours cut out of them especially the pirate ship shooting, side scrolling and doll head levels . The platforming and combat are really good. The combat is very reminiscent of Ocarina of Time. I played on normal and while you do get overwhelmed with enemies coming from all sides sometimes it was nothing that was too unmanageable. The game overall could have used a bit more polish there is a lot of clipping and screen tearing and the steam vents (which you jump into so the steam pushes you up to the top and you can then jump to the next platform) had a problem where about 10% of the time I would jump in one and I would get stuck and it wouldn't push me to the top, I would have to keep jumping inside the steam to unstick myself. But even with all the complaints I still had fun and if you like platformers with lots of collectible hunting I would recommend it.
Bastion, this week!
The DLC character Kenshi for Mortal Kombat 9 is quickly becoming a favorite.
I wish there were fast travel points in the "Borderlands" DLC.
I'm in "The Secret Armory of General Knoxx" right now, and the entire thing is based around driving...but it gets pretty annoying going back and forth and back and forth all the time.
You know something's wrong when a game based around driving has really annoying driving sections.
Cool sneak-peak at "Halo: Anniversary".
Love that you'll be able to switch back and forth between old graphics and new graphics on the fly. That's a really cool feature.
Yeah "Borderlands" is loaded with glitches and poor choices, but I can't deny being totally addicted to it at this point.
I'm not stopping 'til I've completed everything.
I really need to make some space on my harddrive for "Bastion".
Really enjoying L.A. Noire. Played three hours of it last night. Didn't realise there would be so many recognisable faces in this.
Can you find out what you need to do in Outland? I'm lost in that game, have no idea where to go, and haven't tried it since.
Meanwhile, I like playing Pinball FX 2 when I only have like 20-30 mins to spare.
Where are you in "Outland"?
Habe you been following the little firefly sparky thingies? They always lead you directly to your next main objective.
I just unearthed my Nintendo 64. The bad guys in Goldeneye and Star Wars Rogue Squadron will be punished!
Id like to point out that Activation finally lowered the price of World at War (almost 3 years old) to $19.99 and Modern Warfare 2 (almost 2 years old) to $29.99.
