Maybe it's a bad port, because "American McGee's Alice" is one of the best games I've played.

American McGee's Alice is no MediEvil. That game was awesome.
I changed my post to make myself less pretentious. "Aesthetic"? Blegh.
It's definitely not the port because that really would have only affected the graphics or controls but it's everything that I don't like about this game. I consider platformers to be my favorite genre and Alice is anti-fun. I'll start the sequel here soon and I really hope it's better.
Skullmonkeys, mofos.
Tomba 1 is a masterpiece.
Skullmonkeys had the best bonus-level music ever.
Sega was hacked, user info stolen.

It's clear now. Microsoft did it. All of it.
Picked up L.A. Noire and started it last night. Moderately enjoyable thus far. I have to remind myself that all Rockstar games start slow. I definitely miss the chaos of playing the villian. Also, the central character is utterly devoid of personality. I can't tell him apart from his partner most of the time. But still, it's pretty slick and I'm looking forward to playing more.
A very distinct show that Gabe's art has improved greatly. Penny Arcade's American McGee parodies, from 2003 and 2011.

I actually prefer the 2003 drawing to the 2011.
The 2011 is more technically polished, but it's also so much more generic.
Ehhh. Hm. Okay...

I don't like Robin as a character in the Batman universe.
