Well now you could argue (or alternatively retcon) that since Incredible Hulk is supposed to take place after Iron Man 2, Ross could have instead been talking about Shandling's character and the senate trying to take control of the Iron Man suit or the Stark Expo almost being burned to the ground.
But however you want to look at it, that Ross / Stark scene has always been annoyingly vague and dull.
Patty Jenkins may be directing THOR 2. Now that would be interesting. Too early, though. She probably won't get the job.
Zoolander?
Was he trying for Edward Norton's kind of pouty look?
Green steel?
Ha, oh shit. Chris Evans, Tom Hiddleston, Clark Gregg and Cobie Smulders will be at an Avengers panel at New York Comic-Con.
Take that, San Diego.

X3's Simon Kinberg is penning. Apparently, this is what Vaughn has said earlier:
Quote:
First Class director Matthew Vaughn told HItfix earlier this year that "I thought it would be fun to open with the Kennedy Assassination, and reveal that the 'magic bullet' was controlled by Magneto. That would explain the physics of it, and we see that he's pissed off because Kennedy took all the credit for saving the world and mutants weren't even mentioned..."
I really would like a Days of Future Past angle. Sentinels seem like something that would work very well on screen...
Ooh, very happy to learn that AKA Jessica Jones will take place in the movie universe. I wonder if Chris Evans will make a cameo for the first arc.
Patty Jenkins leaves Thor 2.
Yeah that didn't last long. Kind of an odd choice.
Not that I was opposed to her hiring. Branagh was kind of a strange choice too, even if you could assume they were going for a Shakespearean approach to the well known family dynamic.
While a lot of Marvel's choices are inspired, I do feel like I have to go digging for meaning as to why they went with others like Gavin Hood or Mark Weber. Still, I like that they're not settling for special effects guys trying their hand at directing i.e. Spawn. I can't think of any possible director who the content immediately calls to mind. Del Toro? Tarsem?
The Comingsoon.net article alluded to some possibility that Jenkins may then do some other project for Marvel.
