Why so much porn in November duke?
 Steam Christmas sales.
I think I may get rid of cable, too. I'm basically paying $60 a month to watch The Daily Show four times a week.
This may be a dumb questions, but can two people stream from the same Netflix account at the same time? I let my sister and my brother use my account, and now they log in and watch all the time and I don't want to get in trouble.
They let you do it because you can have multiple users with their own IW queues under one account, so theoretically they have to let them view different things at once.
When did they start doing that? My wife is a user under my account, but was never allowed to use the Instant Viewing under her name, she always had to log in under my account. She only had disc privileges.
Hmm, that's weird. Either they've changed it or I misremembered. Oh well.
Pretty sure you misremembered. My wife has had her profile under my account almost since the profile inception. We have both complained to Netflix about it, even pointing out that you can give out your name and password to friends and they can use the instant viewing service for free, so why couldn't a profile under an account use the service. We never heard back from them.
The Netflix FAQ says:
However, they don't seem to be enforcing this. However again, you'd probably need some serious bandwidth to stream two movies simultaneous from the same Internet connection.Quote:
Some membership plans allow you to watch simultaneously on more than one PC at the same time (for example, watching a movie on your laptop while another family member watches on a PC in another room ).
1-disc plans may watch on one device at a time, 2-disc plans on up to two devices at the same time, 3-disc plans on up to three devices, and plans with four or more discs on up to four devices simultaneously.
After a search on the forum, I was surprised not to find a thread like this already. I'm always looking for quality suggestions that can also be found conveniently on Netflix Instant Watch. Please use this thread to fill with recommendations of movies/TV shows already on Netflix and a heads-up for new titles to come.
I'll start with a few -- I know these films have been discussed by multiple Match Cutters and played as strong contenders in the 2010 Match Cut Awards Nomination process...
I Am Love
Exit Through the Gift Shop
Dogtooth
And there are a bunch of good TV shows on there in their entirety, off the top of my head...
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Arrested Development
Coupling
Veronica Mars
And a couple TV shows that are well regarded here that I plan on watching...
Firefly
Downtown Abbey
So feel free to chime in. And I hope this thread doesn't die, because the main reason I'm making this is hope to be notified when something good is added in the future.
I considered making a thread like this a bunch of times. There's a bunch of stuff on Netflix Instant worth watching.
I was just commenting on That Mitchell and Webb Look, British TV comedy that's quite hilarious. Gonna flip over there right now and have a watch.
I'm trying to watch every episode of Saturday Night Live. I'm up to episode 13 (of season 1) so far. I was thinking of starting a thread to review them.
This site:

is indispensable.
Definitely going to watch The Quantum Activist and Mesrine: Part 1: Killer Instinct soon.
Ooh, and they finally have all of Rocko's Modern Life.
My current Instant Queue seems to be endlessly growing, and I still have much to go through at this point. A lot of TV shows have been added over the past couple of months.
I've only got 60 movies in my Instant Watch and 40 in my DVD queue.
Titles expiring March 1st include...Popeye, Rain Main, Le Cercle Rouge, Catch 22, Gilda, Whatever Works, Star Trek IV, Play it Again Sam, Ginger and Fred, Grand Illusion, The Elephant Man, Frankenstein, From Here to Eternity, The Lady From Shanghai.
Though I have some idea of what I prefer, I probably won't be able to get to all of these in time, so any suggestions on what to prioritize?
