I was going through my XBLA games today looking for something to play and I noticed I have 66 XBLA games! I did not think I had that many.

Looking forward to "Rage".
That song is wicked, too.
"Burning Jacob's Ladder" by Mark Lanegan. Made specifically for the game. Very cool.
Yeah, "Mass Effect 2" is pretty much one of the greatest games I've ever played.
And the story told through the two games ranks among the best sci-fi/fantasy stories ever told.
It really ranks up there with the Star Wars OT.
What an amazing accomplishment.
Yeah, definitely looks like ID played a lot of "Fallout 3" and "Borderlands".
But it still looks cool to me. I'll check it out for sure.
Oh it's a day 1 purchase for me. Those seem to be few and far between lately.
I guess Mass Effect 2 became rather easy when I made the decision to carry over my ME 1 save game. I mean, I've chosen hard, but it has never ever been as hard as my playthrough of the first one. In fact, all through the epic adventure - I'm nearing the end I believe - I've felt more badass rather than puny and frustrated which is how I often felt in the original.
And there's every indication that this trend will continue in part III. Which is great, I'm not complaining, but I suppose it does mean that Bioware needs to ensure that the difficulty is amped a bit more I suppose.
What a great ride it's been so far! I'm close to passing through the Omega Relay and thus, at least according to the script, going beyond the point of no return. Bring it on!
I went on a mad shopping spree. Well, my brother pays 200 euro and I 60.
We got:
Darksiders
Vanquish
James Blood: Stone
Halo Reach
Transformers: War for Cybertron
Super Streetfighter IV
Castelvania: Lord of Shadow
Fallout: Las Vegas (Though I won't be playing this)
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
:cool::cool:
I found the first "ME" to be frustratingly difficult on anything higher than Normal difficulty.
The flaws in the combat system became very apparent, and enemies were, at times, way overpowered compared to what you were capable of.
"ME2" has given me a few challenging fights, but nothing where I was starting to consider going into the menu and bringing down the difficulty setting, which is what I ended up having to do with the first game.
Okay, so I have this copy of Little BigPlanet 2 which I had pre-ordered back in May, and then grabbed it the day it was released. Now, we're close to three weeks later, and there it is, on the shelf, in the basement, still in it's plastic wrapping.
The reason? Every time I head downstairs with the intention of firing LBP2 up, I see that damned key-tar resting there, seductively, and, hey, how about playing one, just one, Rock Band 3 song real quick before popping in this new game. Next thing I know, I've blasted through 8 songs on expert and it's bedtime and -crap- another night without touching LBP2. :|
I don't know what point it was, but in the latter half of 1, I was able to just tear through levels, killing soldiers quite easily, and only struggling at major spots. I thought that was kind of neat actually.
Just got the Shadow Broker expansion for 2. Looking forward to that tomorrow.
The fight against Matriarch Benezia I found to be quite literally impossible on higher difficulty settings.
Yet, on lower ones, it was just too easy.
I would like to shake the hand of whoever thought to put Rammstein in Rock Band 3. That is some fun right there, boy howdy.
The final battle is a sinch on any difficulty if you equip your most powerful gun with cryo ammo.
He's kind of a pushover if you do that.
The Benezia fight wasn't hard because of Benezia herself, it was that I kept getting flanked by her little squads of soldiers. Then when I turned to hit some of them, Benezia would flank me.
And since they're all biotics, all they have to do is hit you with that power that cripples you for a couple of seconds, and you're fucked.
Beat Dead Space 2. One of the best endings to a video game I've ever seen.
