RE5 is less horror and more action. I'd recommend it if you were playing with a friend.

And you are missing out Scary stuff on PC. Amnesia the Dark Decent is absolutely a game for you.

I liked Alan Wake and in a lot of ways, it is much like the Vanishing on 7th Street

Alan Wake is still a lot of "shine flashlight, then shoot" though. Interesting story though, different then say Resident Evil and Dead Space.

DOn't know anything about Fatal Frame.

I wonder if Amnesia is for Mac?

I wish Amnesia was out on the consoles. I'd definitely check it out.

Me too. I've beat it a few times, and even though I know a scare is coming, it still freaks me out when it happens. This game is a sound system must. The GI review for DS2 got me real pumped for it. Too bad I'm such a cheapskate.

Loving Darksiders so far. I haven't gotten a chance to play it that much, but I'm in the part with all the worms. I'm surprised how much I'm liking the story so far. Some of the character designs feel straight out of a Del Toro film.

Nope. I'm playing a knight, have gotten to the part on the first board where you can't go any farther (after the huge tower guard you chop off at the ankles) until you kill an archdemon. I then went over to 4-1 where you've got the rolling skeletons that give you almost 300 souls a pop and managed to pick up the Falchion +1. Went back and killed that spear bitch on 1-1, and found out the door was locked. I just killed some giant spider thing, which I guess is referred to the end of 2-1, and just started 2-2. Don't know what to upgrade right now.

I've begun replaying "Mass Effect".

I really didn't see enough of it my first playthrough - it ended too quickly. So I want to play it through thoroughly before I play "Mass Effect 2".

Say, Megs & I were chatting on IM, and I mentioned it that it would be a blast if we could get together online some weekend night, say a Friday, and play through the Left 4 Dead 2 missions, back to back and in order. Megs agreed. Now all's we need are two other suckers brave souls who have L4D2 for the XBox who would be interested...

So, anybody here interested in doing that some time?

Fridays and Saturdays usually work great for me! This Friday's probably out for me, though.
