I thought GT was all about realistic physics. Why do the cars float around and crash so unrealistically? It's like they have no weight whatsoever. That's weird.

Yeah, the physics in GT5 are said to be even better than Forza's and the car models look nicer and the tracks are better and there's night mode and weather. And GT5 has better cars.
I'll stick with Split/Second! Blow some shit up while cruising.

Well, yeah, if you exploit glitches in games, shit like that happens. In any case, the creator of the game claims that it was released unfinished (but still, think Enter the Void at Cannes -- still much to offer) and he's going to be releasing patches for a while now constantly adding new things. Take a look at this link (please wait for your browser to jump to the post) from the Select Button forums and it should tell you everything you need to know.
