I gave my old man Gran Torino as his dad's day gift. I figured it was something he would enjoy, and ties are a bit cliche :P
I gave my dad a gift certificate to make 48 litres of any kind of beer he wants.
My cell phone is pretty great.
I think it's just about perfect for me, being a very casual user.
Texts quickly, sound quality on both ends is crisp and clear, and I've had no problems with reception.
I also have a ringtone of the theme for the '80s "Transformers" movie, so that's pretty awesome.

Friend of mine from out of town crashed at my place last night. I live in a studio apartment, so he slept on the couch, which my mattress is behind.
My God, he snored. And snored.
I got like four hours of sleep last night. Lawdy.
I can't think of any situation where getting a tattoo of someone's face is a good idea.
But even within that realm of badness, there should be limits.
