Music has been around since cavemen. Literature, what, something like 3000 BC or something with Gilgamesh. Movies have only been around a century, and it has been a century of many wars and a realistically doomed outlook.
I'd ditch the movies and use my imagination, the way I used to. Get back to my roots. Music and reading seem more fundamentally necessary to a well-balanced brain. Thankfully I don't ever have to make this choice.
