Me too. That looks far better then anything else they've shown of it.

This whole twin universe in Thor just feels and looks awkward. Sure, the majority of the movie looks to take place on Earth, but I don't wanna sit there for two hours thinking "Geez, I'm so not buying him to be originally from Asgard." At least Superman actually travelled to Earth. "I cast you out naughty boy" just sounds stupid. Captain America, Good ole Steve Rogers is just a dude from Planet Earth fighting against nazis. Some might exclaim "INSTANT WIN!"
EDIT: Though reportedly, only 30% of the movie is set on Earth!
I don't know how someone could see that scene with Thor getting tasered and think "that looks awesome!"
That was awful, awful, unfunny and awful.
Everything in Asgard looks cool. I really look forward to the Frost King stuff.
But the Earth segments look baaaaaad.
Okay, that actually looked like it might be fun. A much better trailer.
I groaned.
Though it may have been more that I was still wondering why he was wearing such nice Earth clothes when he just got here.
I agree with Meg. I don't know anything about the Thor comics, but this looked lame. I sort of thought the robotic foe at the end was sort of cool, though.
LOL @ Meg's comment. :D
"I like this drink! ANOTHER!"
I'm liking the tone of this.
why were all these threads merged together?? Now it's one big cluster fuck and I can't tell if this news has already been reported or not here....
I will say this:
1. It does look bad.
2. I can't wait to see it.
I only merged the Iron Man 3 thread which had all of about ten posts and nothing beyond the Shane Black rumor which number8 confirmed in this thread. The rest of the discussion for the Marvel films was already all in the same thread.
So, yeah, you're whining about nothing.
I like organization. Not cluster fuck. This thread should be splint into the three threads.
OK, well, once you have gone through every post please feel free to send me the post numbers referring specifically to each of the four (not three) films under discussion and I will properly split the threads.
Please double-check your efforts in order to avoid multiple "cluster fucks," to use your words. Thanks.
Or better yet, the Upcoming Marvel Cinema Universe is laaaaame. But the notion of another movie directed by Shane Black is pretty sweet, so I'm conflicted, kinda. Carry on.
Thor and an Iron Man one were already made. All we needed to do was rename this thread to Captain America.
I'm not trying to be a dick here, I just thought 1 thread for three different movies spanned over 3 years is a bad idea. Esp if people don't end up watching them in order. (Which yes, can and probably will happen)
But whatever I'm in the minority as usual.
I would vote to keep all the comic book movies contained in one thread until one actually begins filming, then split it off into its own thread. But I'm fine with whatever. :)
