Picked up The Witcher: Enhanced Edition last week as my last game purchase for a year. With all of the settings turned down/off, it runs pretty well on my PC, and it's pretty good so far.
Funny how you pay ~$700 for a computer and in order to play a 2-3 year old game you have to make it look like 1st generation 360 game, a console that costs 1/2 as much. And they wonder why people tend to be shunning these kinds of games on the PC.
President of Nintendo said the new Zelda is coming out this year on the Wii. This, along with Super Mario Galaxy 2 and the new Metroid game and all the great games for the other consoles will make 2010 a really awesome year for gaming I think.

It is a shame, but it's great that it's now accessible to everyone with a Wii and an Internet connection for $12. This may be the best $12 I ever spent. I suppose I could do hours of reading through this thread--but my wife is apparently buying me a PS3 for my birthday (the blu-ray feature appeals to me). I need to know what games I should prioritize. I'm not much on FPS-type games, for what it's worth. In fact, most games where the objective is to essentially go around and kill as many things as possible do not much appeal to me.
