I can't get into F.E.A.R.. I want to like it but the game just isn't clicking with me. I'll give it another shot later this week.
Fallout 3 is invading my every thought again.
Damn you game! Damn your ... fun!!
I played for-fucking-ever the first time through. I'm now on my third time through, and I'm still finding stuff that I haven't ever encountered. Still finding quests that I haven't played. I'm going to really comb through the game this time.
AND THEN I'M GONNA BUY THE EXPANSIONS.
World of Goo is awesome.

Awesome Saya! Cannot wait!
Nice. I'm all for an Arkham Asylum sequel. The only complaint was that it seemed like it ended up being Batman against Resident Evil-ish bosses with the Bane stuff.
I am also hoping it takes place in Gotham.
I agree with the awesomeness that is a sequel to "Arkham Asylum".
It would just be nice to see a story that has a little more weight to it. Everything in the first game was incredible, until the ending which...

I found that a little disappointing.
Oooh, thanks, Fezzik! I had not yet found it.

Question: When I set up my 360 after I first turn it on, do I have to get Live right away or can I get it later? Because I'll probably be only getting one game for it (GTA IV) and if it doesn't have Live compatability, I might or might not get Live at that moment.
No, you don't need to set up LiVE right away. I had the system for nearly a year before I set up LiVE.
"GTA IV" is compatible with LiVE. It has an awesome online multiplayer system, and you can download the new episodes ("The Lost and the Damned" and "The Ballad of Gay Tony") off the net.
Plus, if you have LiVE, your system will automatically download updates and patches for games. For example, "BioShock" had some stuttery framerate and save/load issues before a patch came out for it. So it's worth it just for that.
And with Last.fm, Netflix, game demos, etc, it's well worth the once a year fee.
You don't need to pay the yearly fee to download demos.
Just read in a magazine today that as of 2009, the failure rate of XBox 360 consoles is 52%. Yikes.
So I walked into a used media store and found (and purchased) one of those Club Nintendo Super Famicom classic controllers for the Wii for $15. These usually sell for around $100. It's new, too. At first I was trying to figure out whether to rejoice in my good fortune and enjoy it, or to try to flip it for 500% profit. But I think I'm gonna keep and enjoy this rare treat.
I am currently plotting a party with my friends for after Christmas where we will collectively clear Mega Man 1-6 and 9 while eating pizza and hanging out. It'll be badass.
