I don't know why but the "Assassin's Creed" games have never really interested me.

Maybe now that the second one is out and the first is pretty much on clearance everywhere, I'll pick that one up sometime.

I think the official release date is later this week, but some shops here in The Netherlands are selling it already.

I don't think Rome nor the Vatican is in the game. Right now I have been to Firenze, Toscane and Monteriggioni. It's really cool to see all the famous buildings and architecture in the game. Oh, and there is a night/day cycle in the game too. Very cool.

Haha! Yep, Dan Brown type conspiracies are very much part of ACII! And a lot of famous historical figures play a role in them.

What's a good (relatively new) game out that's appropriate for 7 and 9 year old girls? I need to buy my sisters a Christmas gift. They own a XBOX 360, Wii, PS3, and they're no slouch at video games (they love stuff like Mario Kart, Smash Bros., Wii Sports and stuff).

New Super Mario Bros. Wii would be a good choice I think. You can play it solo or with 4 other people! It's just been released.

Jeez, have any of you guys read of the heavy editing "Left 4 Dead 2" received in Australia?

A substantial amount of gore and violence was removed, and the job done removing it was terrible leaving animations looking awkward, stilted and just awful.

Finally playing Resident Evil 5, game isn't bad but it's so different. It feels to me like an arcade game, sometimes it's like playing one of Sega's House of The Dead games, it's fun, but short and relatively easy. Atmosphere and visuals are very well done, but for RE6, i hope Capcom can achieve a better middle ground between the older solo games and this.

Demon's Souls did such a great job incorporating coop gameplay without compromising the depht of a solo experience, hopefully we'll see it's ideas influence other game designers. No other PS3 owner here got this game?

Not surprising seeing how censor-happy they are of video games down under.

Playstation brand finally released in Brazil. A PS2 costs... $470??? A PS2 costs more than the PS3 in the US? :crazy:

Don't know why Sony even bothered, Microsoft failed in here already, government isn't interested in lowering taxes for videogames and everyone will continue to buy imports or support piracy.
