I certainly can imagine that some actually start this way. It makes sense, really.

I've started a number of seeds indoors for my garden this year, hoping they will be hardy enough to transplant by early May. I am branching out into more vegetables this year, when I've historically grown mostly herbs.

I never grow flowers. Flowers are silly.

Anyhoo, I planted the seeds on Saturday, and little artichoke shoots sprouted through the soil yesterday. Four freaking days. I'm in shock and slightly afraid.

I can't believe Gilette is making a new line of razors specifically for gamers.

Penny Arcade makes light of it as they so often do with these idiotic situations.

But really, that's pretty...I don't know. Some word that denotes "bad".

Remember that incident last summer where the young Canadian man was stabbed and decapitated on a Greyhound bus?

The guy who did this may be found "Not Criminally Responsible"

This not only means he would go to a psychiatric institute instead of jail, but he will also have no criminal record of this event upon release from said institute.

Using my rule that any food item+bacon=better eating experience, the above can only be described as food given to us by the gods themselves. Of course eating it will probably lead you to meeting said gods sooner.

I could see that concoction being good if you just served an inch-wide slice off the end with eggs, toast, and potatoes.

I'm trying out Safari 4. This isn't bad, I'm liking the Top Sites and History features, but I miss my Firefox hacks.

I picked up a side by side double shotgun a few years back. It's a L.C. Smith that was made in 1927, and after doing a bit of research, I think its worth more than twice what I paid for it. Neat.
