Video Games...Discuss Them

Beat "Arkham Asylum".

Was slightly disappointed with the ending from a narrative point of view, since there are tons of SPOILER videos and the like on YouTube, and places saying you shouldn't spoil the ending for yourself...

...but, like, what was there to spoil? Everything is back to status quo, no characters were killed or permanently altered. Nothing really changed at all.

But the gameplay was freaking amazing from first minute to last, and now I'm working on the challenge rooms which are unbelievably hard to do well in.

It'll certainly take me less time to figure out you swapped my XBox for a loaf of cheese than it'll take you to finally realize I've swapped your PS3 for a polished elephant turd.

Started Resistance 2 on the PS3. It's fantastic. I don't think i could ever tire of First-person shooters.

How is that even possible though? The Loaf of Cheese 3000 has far better graphics than the Xbox, AND you can use it to make delicious sandwiches. If anything, you should be thanking me.

Yeah, but the graphics have this yellow tint to them which is kind of irritating. I heard the swiss model has holes in it, too. And furthermore, it doesn't melt really well, making it impractical for grilled cheese sandwiches or quesadillas. Believe me, I tried.

That's just because you haven't yet unlocked the Level 40 Cheese Grater +Shred and the Deadly Skillet of VonMeunster.

Me and the wife just marathoned through all of the Beatles Rock Band story mode. Fucking love it.

I can't believe how many ads I'm seeing for that.

Man alive - with the price drop of the PS3, cold weather approaching and me wanting to reward myself for attaining an exercise milestone, I am *this* close to breaking down and picking up a PS3 Slim. I'll probably be getting Little Big Planet along with it. The only thing that's keeping me from doing it, really, is I wanna finish GTA4 before I hop into a new game.

I am having a hard time with this dilemma, because as much as I want to play "Little Big Planet" and maybe two other PS3 exclusive games, I see no other reason to own the system.

All the games that are available for PS3 and 360 are better on the latter, which I already have. I like the 360 controller more, it has a better selection of games, a far better online experience, and did I mention it has a better library of games?

Plus, I already have a BluRay player, so it's not like I can use that excuse to pick one up.

Well, then just buy a PS2 'cause that's what you really need.

Also, I've been playing a lot of We <3 Katamari lately. Game is just pure bliss. I've had the song "Everlasting Love" stuck in my head the last couple days and it's a wonderful thing.

i like sony's first and second party games a lot

I can't beat the final boss (?) in Eternal Sonata.:sad: I don't think I'd recommend this game btw, the narrative is a nothing.

I have. I think it comes down to my party being on too low a level and being too lazy to grind them up.

Well, half the reason... okay, well a third of the reason I would get a PS3 is for its blu-ray capabilities. And I've always liked the dualshock controller better than the 360 controller.

And then, there are the games I wanna play on the PS3 that are not available on the 360. LBP, Killzone2, DCU Online & MGS4 come immediately to mind.

And then there's the thought of giving Scar or Spun a call and seeing if they wanna blast some fools online...

Can anyone tell me how to beat Duriel in Diablo 2 with a Barbarian? I've tried two different builds to take him down and have utterly failed both times. A game-breaking boss, it seems like...
