I saw the funniest thing today.
I was in the rougher Latino area of the city, and I was waiting for the bus in front of the underground train station. This neighborhood is full of hookers, bums and crazy-ass people. But right there on the street corner, there was this chubby white 12-year-old kid, wearing black gloves, standing on a flattened cardboard with a sign that says "Break dancing". He had a small stereo playing House of Pain and a jar of tips. I thought, this kid must be some kinda prodigy. But no, he can't dance a lick of shit. He was just waving his arms, then sits his fat ass on the ground and rolls around. It was like a live re-enactment of the Star Wars kid. He did this over and over, always doing it for about several seconds then stopping to walk over to his Mom, who was sitting on a bench nearby the whole time reading a book, not even paying attention.
Me and the other people at the bus stop were just cracking up like mad. It was sad when the bus finally came and we had to leave.
