It's interesting, because Iron Man was such a success, Stark's gonna be the de facto leader just because it's Downey. But I think Whedon and Marvel know that it HAS to be Cap. But right now they don't know how successful that movie's gonna be (especially since it's a period piece) or if Chris Evans can match Downey's reception.
So my guess is that Nick Fury is going to be the central character. Stark is gonna be the one who wants to take charge, but then they find Cap in ice and through sheer humility and leadership, the others come to respect Cap at the end. Just a hunch.
That's what I'm thinking too, with there being a bit of a struggle with Stark's ego getting in the way, but in the end, the sheer force of Cap's charisma and leadership ability causes even Stark to have to admit to himself that, yeah, Cap is the guy to lead the team.Quote:
