I may be forming the opinion that "meat sauce" is one of mankind's greatest inventions. On their own, meat and sauce are terrific, but together? Well, that's a whole new slice of amazing.

Had to get glasses. I'm the last in my family to need them. I always took pride in my good eyesight compared to my parents and siblings. Time and bad genes has caught up to me. For now, they're only reading/computer glasses (though I'm on the computer about 8 hours a day, so they might as well be permanent), but they feel a bit awkward.
I'm seriously gonna be needing glasses soon myself. My eyes have gradually gone to shit over the years, to the point where now everything is pretty much a blur and I'm always having to squint to see anything anymore. :\
Been rocking specs for 13 years. Ain't no shame in it.
I'm so used to my glasses that I feel weird and naked and sleepy without them. (Yes, sleepy. I take off my glasses and my brain thinks it must be bedtime.)
I think I was 14 when I started wearing glasses, and I only needed then really to see the board in high school or see things really far away. Now I need them to see my laptop. It's only a matter of time until I'm legally blind.
I totally understand. I wear contacts most of the time and even though I really like the glasses I have, I rarely wear them outside since my mind has them so attached to either just waking up or about to wind down for bed. It's like the equivalent of wearing pyjamas, only on my face. Stupid brain.
This is just so sweet.

...well, thanks for making me tear up about physics. Bless that man. He's adorable.
By the way, I'm probably within a decade of needing bifocals. Like a little old lady. My eyes have never been terrible; in fact I didn't even wear glasses regularly until I needed them to drive. So I didn't think I would need bifocals like my mother, but all of the sudden when I'm looking at something with small type up close I look over my glasses to see it better. That's how it starts.
This all just reminds me that I take my 20/20 for granted.
Life's been busy, been short on the Match-Cuttery.
How the hell are all of you fine folks?
i've worn glasses for 20+ years and i'm 26

Guy at the basketball courts yesterday had "#Blessed" tattooed on his arm.
You know how I used to always rag on Ottawa and how incredibly dull and annoying this city is/can be?
There's a full-fledged documentary about this phenomenon, and it's really gaining some steam.
So, "in your face!" to all those here who thought it was all in my head
I don't think anyone thought it was in your head.
I think we all just thought it was hilarious that you live in such a shitty place. :D
