My wife and I saw that ad last night. I laughed. Then I rewound it and watched it again, and laughed harder.

I'm tired of having to miss the Olympics this year, thus being unable to talk about them with you guys, and coworkers the next day. I'm tired of watching sporting events in less than Youtube quality streams. My computer is no substitute for my TV, which gathers dust in my living room for the most part, aside from playing Xbox 360, and use of Hulu Plus and Netflix. My uncomfortable computer chair is no substitute for a couch. I don't care if it bankrupts me anymore, cable's worth every penny that I would pay for it.

Um no, there are plenty of good olympic streams and just buy a projector which you can watch from a couch.
The Olympics are on NBC. Just get one of these for ~$30, get all the networks in HD and save yourself the $50+/month. As long as I'm living alone, I will never have cable again.
Probably going to buy a new (used) car tomorrow. I've been looking around on Craiglist for something cheap with decent gas mileage (just so I can commute to school and back). I'm no way an auto expert, but I have a question: After I purchase a car and put my name on the title, do I have to pay a fee If I want to switch insurance companies from my old car to my new one? Is it as simple as calling them and saying "I want you to drop my policy" and then getting a new one. I have never done this before and I want to try to avoid spending any more money.
It is as simple as telling your old insurance carrier that you want to cancel your policy. In fact, the new insurance company will likely offer to do it for you. There shouldn't be a fee for your new insurance. Never heard of that before, unless there's an application fee, but if so I would think they'd lose a lot of business right from the start.
I just bought a new (used) car myself, but I finally got fed up with cars that are awful in the winter and bought a '01 Jeep Cherokee (the older boxy kind; love that style). Paid cash. I love the thought of no car payment.
AWD/4WD FTW!
Also, the bolded statement is so important to me. I don't understand how people lease. I try and pay my cars off within 3 years.
Sadly, my 11 year old car is feeling it's age. 230k miles. Hopefully, it will last until November 2013, and I will be getting a new WRX.

Oregon should be ashamed of themselves.
A good friend brings you beer.
A great friend brings you beer and bacon.
And a great friend gives you beer and rasslin' in return!
The San Fernando Valley has been baking the past couple days. I haven't felt this awful since I saw that Ronald Reagan film.
It was 117 here yesterday and 115 today.
