Holy moly the PS5 is heavy.
Haha!
I don't have time for heavy gaming, but every winter, I fire up my xbox 360 that I bought off a coworker 10 years ago. Been enjoying South Park: The Stick of Truth, which I found at Gamestop a week ago for $5.
Nothing yet but ordered Demon's Souls and Miles Morales.
I have Control, but didn't realize that the PS5 upgrade patch isn't out yet. So I'm going to wait til I can play it with that on.
I don't know about porting the PS4 stuff over. Don't know that my internet can handle it. Unless it is just done between the two systems locally?
Yeh it probably wouldn't benefit you. I think you can download most PS4 games on your PSN account to your PS5 and play them.
But if you have physical media, then that won't work.
Yeah I do physical for everything.
But man oh man, the haptic feedback on the controller is so cool.
Try the pre-installed astrobot game. Supposed to be a legit showcase. Especially its haptic feedback.
When I imagine Control upgraded for the PS5 it's the ultimate video game.

Spielberg gaming. I just find it cool he loves it so much. Had an Asteroids arcade cabinet on standby during the making of Raiders...
Fucking Speilberg can mouse and keyboard and I cannot.
*slumps away in shame
Think if he streamed.
I think Peter Jackson is a big gamer, too.
I remember reading that during all the editing and post stuff for the LOTR trilogy, he and the team held frequent Halo sessions.
So Microsoft raised the price to their Live sub to $120 a year?
As soon as you can start doing your own trade routes in No Mans Sky, do it. You can make a few million in fifteen minutes or less once you know what you’re doing. I now have a freighter and a fleet of frigates I send out on hours long missions.
I scrapped my original base, and am rebuilding it next to a lake, radioactive but oh well, now that I know what I’m doing.
This game is Sci Fi animal crossing.
When your new TV arrives and it is much bigger than you thought it would be.
*swoons*
I've had my 50" for about 12 years now (its still a great tv), and I cant wait to get new one when it goes. The just get cheaper and cheaper. The longer this lasts the bigger my next one will be. Right now I would def go for 65", and those are half what I paid for the 50.
65 inch is a real sweet spot. I got one, LG oled. One of the last with 3d. When it dies on me eventually, the Hurt Will be Severe.
My 50" is a Panasonic Viera plasma, and I still marvel every single time at how good a blu-ray looks on it. Not even 4k, just 1080p. While I obviously watch a lot of movies, most of the time its streaming and usually in my office on the 42" thats even older that the 50". So when a blu does find its way on the living room tv, it pops my eyes. Maybe Duke should move this whole convo to the "show me your setup" thread lol
My 2nd tv for the living room is a 7 year old Viera plasma. Still pretty strong image indeed. It's got some image retention, but Plasma's were the OLED of their day.
