How do you not consider guys like Caps and Batman hyper-masculine? How do you rationalize the ridiculous marginalization of women in comics? And comic book movies?
I'm asking because I've never been able to resolve that myself, and your post reminded me, somehow, about the SDCC flap with the Batgirl cosplayer and "women comics."
You've lost me. Where's the adaptation? You're buying into systems that represents and glorifies something you find distasteful. You're actively supporting it with cash. It sounds like Woo and comics get a pass because you find them fun.Quote:
