Yesterday I was able to contribute questions for an interview with my favorite band, Clutch, and I was told I will be getting a press pass for an upcoming show. Writing for a music magazine has its advantages! :D
Does anyone on Match Cut live in Seattle area besides Sven? I'll be out visiting him the weekend of Hemp Fest and just curious if anyone else will be out there as well.
It's 100ºF here today. The kids and I aren't leaving the house, just hanging out, reading books, and watching movies all day.
It's not 100 here yet, but it should be soon.
Meanwhile, though 98% of the time my job involves sitting on my duff in a pretty, air-conditioned office, today I have to drive to Annapolis. Normally I like getting out for a breather, but not when it's this hot.
Is 100 unusual for where you're at KF?
We'd have many days each Summer of 100+ in Fresno. It sucks, but you get used to it. Just drink lots of fluids.
Yeah, I'd say it's unusual. Happens once or twice every couple of years. It gets into the 90's at least once or twice a summer for a few days, but hitting 100 is pretty rare. Plus, the humidity today is at 70% right now (which is usual for summer), making that 100º feel about 10-15º hotter. The minute you walk out the door, you feel moisture from the air on your skin and start to sweat. It's just awful.
Yeah, bad weather sucks. Can't believe we're gonna have AM clouds on Saturday.

I'm devoting the rest of my day to praying for your part of California to fall off into the fucking sea. If I'm a better person than you, it should definitely work.
Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday the dew point was at 80, and the temperature was around 100F. Heat indexes of around 120.
Its in the mid 80's right now and low humidity, and it feels wonderful.
95 here with humidity at 50%. Went running at lunch. Bad idea.
I finally get to meet my new dog today.
And since I was being a jerk about our great weather, I'll add that I will be back home in Pennsylvania for 10 days in August, so I should get a nice taste of 90+ degree, 80+ % humidity in just a couple weeks.
I don't understand why people run in 90+ weather. It really does more harm then good at that point.
