Yeah, I'd say it's unusual. Happens once or twice every couple of years. It gets into the 90's at least once or twice a summer for a few days, but hitting 100 is pretty rare. Plus, the humidity today is at 70% right now (which is usual for summer), making that 100º feel about 10-15º hotter. The minute you walk out the door, you feel moisture from the air on your skin and start to sweat. It's just awful.Quote:

Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday the dew point was at 80, and the temperature was around 100F. Heat indexes of around 120.
Its in the mid 80's right now and low humidity, and it feels wonderful.
It's been high 90's with the dew point at 80º all week. Right now the dew point is 79º. What a miserable day.Quote:
