What the hell? That's the worst thing I've ever heard.

I never even heard of pineapple in pasta.
I almost ordered a pizza.
Pepperoni, green peppers, and olives. That's how I roll.
The only type of pizza I eat is cheese.
Apparently the Hardware / Tools department at my store had a customer pull the race card on the weekend.
An older Asian lady was buying a socket wrench set for her husband, and got into an argument with the employee over the set's cost.
The employee explained to her that a) that is the price, and it is non-negotiable, and b) he has absolutely no input on pricing, and if she thinks it is an unfairly high price, she is more than welcome to speak to Customer Service and/or contact the company's head office.
She then said that he "wouldn't give her a better price because she's not white."
The employee went to Customer Service himself and got Jeff, one of our managers who is Asian.
Jeff told her to leave the store.
So Jeff made things more secure by encouraging an elderly Asian woman to get behind the wheel?

Lately my default toppings on a pizza are pepperoni, green peppers, and onions. With the kids, I usually just order pepperoni so I don't have to hear them complain.
Absolutely, completely agree. But I can't stand anything sweet on a pizza. I hate anything savory and sweet mixed together in general.
I like it mixed with other sweet things. Like pineapple upside-down cake.Quote:
I love pineapple by itself, but when you add it to anything else, then yuck.
From a pizzeria, I will get pepperoni, onions, green peppers, olives, mushrooms, and tomatoes.
If I'm making it myself, I'll also add unusual but delicious toppings, like artichoke hearts, fresh basil and green olives.
I like sausage (a lot) but I don't like the cheap stuff they tend to use at pizza places that looks like rabbit poop. If I'm at home I'll add the good stuff.
Never: hamburger, pineapple.
Sometimes I'll make a BBQ chicken pizza with BBQ sauce, mozzarella, cooked chicken and cilantro.
I typically make my own pizza (with pre-made dough it is very easy), and lately it has been pepperoni, banana peppers and a mix of three cheeses (mozzarella, asiago and fontina) topped with basil. Might add some pancetta and onions in the future.
I make my own dough, but I buy sauce.
I refuse to spend that much time making something I find to taste perfectly acceptable from the store. If it was really quick, that's one thing. But a pizza should not take in excess of an hour to make.
It's the fresh ingredients on top that make the difference for me.
I have a pizza dough that tastes great without needing to rise. It takes ten minutes to make and is delicious, absolutely worth the time. I can post the recipe in the Gastro thread when I get home.
We still talking about pizza?
Guilty pleasure: Pineapple and garlic. Yes, it sounds disgusting and no, they really don't go together that well.
10 more days til the Rapture, folks.
