EDIT: n/m, I saw your review on RYM. I mostly agree even though I like the s/t more (one of my faves of the decade). The processed 'Cher-vocals', as some have derisively called them, have grown on me.

Sir Richard Bishop - "Zurvan"

I really should give the s/t one another shot and Untrue seems like one that could grow on me over time. There's just something about dubstep (and I'm only going on the few albums I've heard) that I find a little offputting, but maybe it's just a matter of getting used to the style.

Arp - "St. Tropez"
Hmm, for me it's a style that really appeals to me (most dub-inspired genres do), but outside of Burial and some of Kode9, I've yet to hear an artist that really blows me away. Nonetheless, I think it'll only get better, so I'll be constantly seeking out new stuff.

Sir Richard Bishop - "Mahavidya"
I should definitely hear more from the sub-genre before writing it off as "not my thing". Which Kode9 album would you recommend starting with. Also, they're not dubstep (though are tagged as dub on RYM), but have you heard anything by Pole before? I've only heard Steingarten from this year, but it's magnificent.

Clockcleaner - "New in Town"
Good to see good old-fashioned, angry, noisy rock 'n' roll is still alive and kicking.
I've been listening to David Gilmour's latest solo album. It contains a handful of really great tracks. Of course it sounds very much like the Pink Floyd, and I wouldn't want it any other way. It is a good companion piece to The Division Bell.
Also been listening to David Lynch's new single, Ghost of Love, the song he sings in Inland Empire. There is also a very cool b-side called Imaginary Girl.
Goldfrapp - Lovely Head
Pink Floyd - Welcome to the Machine
"Memory Gospel" - Moby
His closing piece of score to Southland Tales, and maybe one of the things that saved the film for me in that final section.
The Magnetic Fields - "Smoke and Mirrors"
Lordy, the production on Get Lost sucks. And the tracklisting for the Australian CD version is out of order. The songs more than compensate, tho.
Nick Cave & Warren Ellis - Another Rather Lovely Thing
Albert Ayler - "Ghosts: Second Variation"
Daft Punk's Alive 2007 album is pretty awesome.
Low - That's how you sing amazing grace
Jandek - "Slinky Parade"
Aphex Twin - Windowlicker
LCD Soundsystem - All My Friends
(Still my favourite song of the year.)
Sleeping In, Radio Dept.
Kissability - Sonic Youth
Opal - My Only Friend
Pelican Narrows, Caribou
The Zombies - 'Hung Up On A Dream'.
