I should definitely hear more from the sub-genre before writing it off as "not my thing". Which Kode9 album would you recommend starting with. Also, they're not dubstep (though are tagged as dub on RYM), but have you heard anything by Pole before? I've only heard Steingarten from this year, but it's magnificent.Quote:

Memories of the Future is the one to get. There's a few weak spots, but the highlights are just endlessly addictive. "Backward" was featured in Children of Men (as was a lot of dubstep).Quote:

I've been listening to David Gilmour's latest solo album. It contains a handful of really great tracks. Of course it sounds very much like the Pink Floyd, and I wouldn't want it any other way. It is a good companion piece to The Division Bell.
Also been listening to David Lynch's new single, Ghost of Love, the song he sings in Inland Empire. There is also a very cool b-side called Imaginary Girl.
