I'd love to see Dice deliver an awesome (and long) SP campaign for once.
The problem with DICE is once they deliver a project, they immediately run to the next one. They don't support the life of project that's currently released and it's usually riddled with bugs and issues that either get BORKED in subsequent patches or not fixed at all. It's how 2142 was killed. That game had the best multiplayer gameplay out of all the BFs.
The next game I'm playing, Mass Effect 4, got delayed until 2017. It will also be at E3 this year.
Perfect timetable to release it too considering that's probably when I'll be done with Fallout 4 DLC and Uncharted 4. (wow lots of sequels!)
The new workshops in Fallout 4 are so fun. Building Robots and stationing them at all of your outposts. I also found two more outposts that I never knew you could build in: Bunker Hill and Egret Tours Marina.
Are either Battlefield 4 or Hardline worth playing for campaigns?
The first one barely. It's action-packed, fast-paced with some pretty tremendous set pieces. I wasn't bored. Which is hardly a ringing endorsement.Quote:

I think he's referring to EA Access. It's a subscription service on Xbox One. Part of the service is The Vault, a collection of EA games that are "free" for all subscribers (i.e. as long as you are subscribe you can play it, you do not continue to own it if you stop the service). It currently includes Hardline and BF4.

Apparently the campaign in DOOM is pretty great.
And since that's all I wanted it for, I may end up picking it up after all.

I think I'm almost done with Uncharted 4. I'm happy for Naughty Dog because it's obviously quite an achievement (and I'm glad that there's finally a PS4 exclusive that helps justify over 40 million consoles sold), but I'm having to lower my shoulder and puuush through this final act. There have been some seriously jaw-dropping moments (King's Bay is easily my favorite part--both the clock tower and E3-famous car chase sequence). I just want something with more depth.
I realize it's a personal preference, and for all intents and purposes Uncharted 4 should be considered some kind of masterpiece. But as much as I love Naughty Dog for making The Last of Us (which had far superior narrative and gameplay imo), I can easily see Uncharted being about as compelling by the next console generation as God of War is now.
I've read many people saying the final act is a bit of a slog.
The cut-scene after the car chase was very emotional for me. Kings Bay has been really great so far. (I turned it off right after that cut-scene) I really loved Ireland too though. I just love every location they end up going to. Love the character dynamics too.Quote:

Finished Uncharted 1. It's still a fairly fun game, the remaster makes it look real nice still. Gonna move right into the second one soon!
Picked up DOOM. Installing now.
