Is there a release of Rez either on PS4 or planned to be on PS4?
I'd pay full pop for that in a second.

FF7 remake will be released in multiple parts.
Interest now in the toilet.
Assuming big games will find support with VR and assuming there won't be a loss of framerate and resolution, then VR is a no brainer and should be awaited with barely concealed glee by gamers. Naturally, assuming gamers won't get motion sickness while wearing it. It just really sounds like a no-brainer.
Played about 15 hours of XBCX this past weekend, and I'm absolutely in love with it. Yes it's full of fetch-quest cliches, and it is basically a single-player MMO (although there are some rather interesting multi-player components), but it's just so much fun. The battle system is fast-paced and fun, a great mix between a traditional MMO hot-bar fest with some AI strategy similar to FFXI; on paper it seems like something that would get old, but so far it hasn't. I'm genuinely enjoying each encounter.
The world itself is HUGE! Out of the 5 main areas, I've explored 20% of one and 3% of two others. It's not like Skyrim in which you'll find all kinds of things to do every where. Instead, exploring is its own reward. Will this be enough for the 80+ hour duration? I don't know. But I do know that once I get my flying mech, things will open up to a whole new level.
What's most impressive is how the game layers a number of complex systems on one another, and the game expects the player to invest time into understanding each system, and how they interact. I've probably spent a quarter of my time in menus, but it hasn't bothered me one bit. I also love the use of the second screen on the Wii U controller. It makes exploring and fast-travel more fun, and does a lot to immerse the player in the world.
I want to play but don't own a Wii-U :(
If I owned a gaming PC, the only console I'd own is whatever Nintendo puts out.
Still the most and best exclusives of the consoles.
The Wii U is worth it for: Bayonetta 2, Wonderful 101, Captain Toad, Mario Maker, Xenoblade, and next year Zelda. That's 6 amazing games that you'll never be able to play anywhere else.
Uncharted is the best exclusive franchise in the last 10 years. If I was having a party or had kids (maybe soon :) ) I'd buy Nintendo. But none those games interest me. Too kiddy.
Now the new FFVII remake is going to be crossing over with a Mobile game.
Good lord....Square is pretty much the worst now.

I wouldn't debate this statement (about Uncharted).
I was reluctant to play them because they'd been hyped so much. I thought there was no way they could live up. But they did, and then some. The third is by far the weakest, but even at that, it's above most other action games.
The only modern franchise I'd put above it is Halo. But it gives Halo a run for its money all right.
I have a PC that can keep up with most of the games on low settings.
But I'm still tempted to get a Wii-U for all the things Davis mentioned, and then every time I think about pulling the trigger on that I'm like "BUT BLOODBORNE" (and a handful of others--DS3 will probably play better on PS4 than my PC. Most certainly, actually.).
Probably won't buy either until I can acquire them for under $200 anyway. But when that day comes, which one to choose?
Looking towards the future, I'd get the PS4. New Nintendo console is being announced at E3 in 2016, and rumors now say that it might actually be out 2016.
Just got a killer deal on Amazon.
Rise of the Tomb Raider, with Rare Replay for free!
Slant's 25 Best Video Games of 2015.
I haven't even heard of about a quarter of this list. Love how high Until Dawn is though.
Aren't there more games to come out this year?
I've seen several game lists already and it seems mighty early.
Last week was pretty much the last week for significant releases.
I bought a gamecube for 1 game (Resident Evil 4) so I can see myself buying a Wii-U for 1 game once it's discounted.
Also, huge steam leaks this week suggest PC ports of Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture, Journey and a little game called Half-Life 3
Reading that Slant list made me realize how little I care or like indie games. Which is weird, because i love the indie/DIY scene with books, movies and music. For some reason I like my games to be big and expensive looking and sounding. There are some exceptions, sure, but for the most part it's true.
I still haven't progressed any further in the story past Diamond City. All I do is build my settlements (which is addicting as shit), assisting settlements and finding new settlements. I'm wondering how many settlements there are.
Just passed 60 hours of gameplay.
