Yeah, see, I don't find her stunning. Attractive, sure, but also somewhat ridiculous. And I think that DDD breasts are clownish no matter what frame they go on. I've also never been one for the mega-voluptuous body type.Quote:

Long story short (too late!) one box I opened was full of super old porn. I mean, the pictures were in black and white. And all the magazines were "HUGE BREAST"-themed. I flipped through one out of curiosity and... oh, man. These women were so, so ugly. Before plastic surgery became the norm, most women with really, really huge breasts were either really fat, or old, or both. And with all the emphasis on the boobs, they weren't paying much attention to these womens faces, either. And the boobs were all... veiny.
Anyway, I was totally scarred.
Why are politicians so afraid of cutting the military budget? Is it the fear of being perceived as "weak"? Because people keep talking about cutting all these minor things, and Obama's supposedly mulling over cutting energy to the lower classes, and I keep thinking that we have the largest, most expensive military in the world, and surely we can reduce that and save a lot of money without being weak. I mean, we spend more than the next fifteen countries combined.
Does that make me a pansy?

Politically the military industrial complex is a huge infrastructure. He probably doesn't have the political capital to begin cutting their budget. Secondly we were involved in a number of conflicts right now and I'm not really sure we can afford to cut spending there although I wish we could. Third the Muslim world is rapidly shifting and hopefully all of these in state demonstrations and struggles will result in positive outcomes for all involved but there is a lot of concern in certain circles that extremists groups are going to come into power and wage war on Israel and other non-Muslim nations. Basically in the back of his mind to some degree he might be gearing up for war with Iran.Quote:

It's frightening to think how many jobs are dependent on the military. Not just people who are in the actual military*, but companies who would have no work at all if the military wasn't their best customer.
*I'm always a little taken back when announcements like "Obama just approved 60,000 more troops to Afghanistan, they'll be there next week" are made. Do we really have that many soldiers who can just be up and transferred that quickly?
