It could kind of off-putting, particularly if something genuinely came up. It may give her the impression that you're the type to "make mountains out of molehills."
It's a fine balance between showing her that your interest is maintained, and also not giving the impression that you're the type who'll be clingy or provide more "baggage" in her life.
You want to present yourself as a potential solution, not the creator of more problems. :)
