Yeah, that looks hammy as hell. Nice use of "Kissing in the Rain" from Cuaron's Great Expectations though.

Cholera is a tired disease. It has no mind share. The people who are into cholera no longer care about movies based in this time period. They should update the film to be Love in the Time of ADHD.

the fuck! granted i've never read the novel, but if it's anything like the other three marquez's, 'tis one hell of an unfaithful adaptation in term of nuance. are they trying to make marquez into austen?
