I like gammalyte, trancelab, classical connections, tuxedo junction, and the mothership connection especially. but most of the shows are good. polka party is a total hoot, and he sometimes plays some great obscure eastern european folk music.

At home, I will listen to slacker.com. In my car, I usually listen to sports radio.
Commercial radio has gone down the tubes IMO and I hardly listen anymore, save for sports occasionally. I listen to CDs and will probably buy satellite radio after the companies merge.

I only occasionally listen to the online stream of KJHK (http://kjhk.org/), the college station I used to DJ for. The diversity is so great, so it's fun never knowing what your going to hear next, plus they play a lot of local and new artists I would never hear of otherwise.

MN Public Radio is the shit. We have three stations - the news/information station, the classical station and the, uh, whole-lotta-cool music station, called The Current, which plays most of the bands we discuss on this board, everything from Spoon to Bob Dylan to Go! Team to Atmosphere. It's where I find out about a lotta my new music. I typically switch between The Current and the news station, and sometimes listen to a local jazz station as well. If I didn't have The Current, I'd probably get XM, cuz all the other stations here suck some serious balls.

If I listen to the radio in my car (which I usually don't because I can plug in my iPod), I listen to sports radio. There are no good music stations in my area. Just top 40, country, and oldies. It's pretty pathetic.
At home I listen to my own music on iTunes, though sometimes I use Pandora to find new stuff.

I listen to NPR frequently throughout the day for news and commentary. At night, the station switches over to jazz. That's the only music radio I listen to anymore.
There also used to be a really awesome Hawaiian Internet radio station, but I think it's disappeared. I should see if I can find a replacement for it.
All my friends, plus my sister and brother-in-law listen to NPR. I don't, although not for any particular reason. The problem is that they assume everyone listens to NPR all the time, and they discuss it all the time, and I always end up feeling like the kid at the grown-up table. They look slightly shocked if I admit to not tuning in 24/7.

I like listening to NPR, especially marketplace. Tom Ashbrook of on point can be a little inane, however, only addressing surface issues of complex subjects. Marketplace, though – that's an awesomely produced show.

I have noticed this phenomenon as well. NPR listeners are an odd bunch. And I am married to one.

NPR in the car. I share an office with three women and they always leave it on either classic rock or Top 40. Ugh. When I have iTunes up at home, it's either Japan-A-Radio (or some other "international" music), or I'm switching between oldies/ambient/jazz stations.

I have Sirius in the car, so I listen to Left of Center(their "college" radio station) constantly. When not using Sirius I listen to NPR.

Yeah, this. XM is great. It makes my 3 1/2 hour drive to visit family in New Orleans so much better. I hate searching for stations.

I had never listened to NPR until a few years ago. My little jalopy has a cassette player, which had been on the fritz, eating my tapes. Plus, these were the pre-iPod days, at least for me. Therefore, on my morning drive to work, I had no recourse but to listen to the radio.
I hate, hate, hate morning radio shows with a passion. Most consist of very little music and an excessive amount of banal chatter, and worst of all, that annoying habit morning DJs have of laughing at their own stupid jokes.
As a last resort, I tuned into the NPR station. IIRC, it was a film review by Kenneth Turan that lured me in to Morning Edition. Then I started to listen to The World, and All Things Considered. On the weekends, I'd listen to Car Talk and Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me!
So, yeah, I'm a fan.

I pretty much listen to CDs these days. Maybe one day I'll get sat radio. Sometimes I listen to a decent classic rock station and NPR, but really most of the time I find myself going through the dial in a desperate search of something decent. So I'd say my answer is "No," with the exception of when I can't get my hands on a new CD.
