I'll probably buy the Indy set, since I don't own it yet and want to watch them with my kids in a few years. Aside from that I'll rent Youth Without Youth at some point.

I can't believe people are saying "absolutely nothing." I can't wait to rent Youth Without Youth and I've been waiting for almost 20 years to get another chance to see the amazing La Chinoise. I bunch of those westerns look pretty fine as well.

I'm a total sucker for FF Coppola. I've liked or loved everything I've seen except Gardens of Stone and Jack. His only directorial efforts I haven't seen yet are Dementia 13, The Rain People, and Youth Without Youth.

Not that I consider his films perfect (or even necessarily good) in many cases, but something about them just clicks for me. I even love most of One From the Heart.

You say that like you should be ashamed of it. That's a marvelous film. I too am a huge Coppola fan. The Conversation is more or less a perfect film, in my opinion.

I'm not ashamed of it, but it is one of his films that one is supposed to hate if a film's reputation counts for anything. I find it brilliant (about 3/4 of the time) and maddening (the other 1/4).

Wow. Good week (bollocks to all you saying "nothing"). I am all over De Toth's Day of the Outlaw and Godard's La Chinoise, and I'll certainly rent Youth Without Youth and try and take a look at Malle's The Lovers and The Fire Within.

A couple great surprises. I'm on Le Gai Savoir, The Fire Within and Day of the Outlaw (liked the one De Toth film I've seen and I'll see just about anything with Robert Ryan). I may check out Youth Without Youth, but I have so many other FFC films to see first.

Anyone who hasn't seen Mann's Man of the West, do yourself a favor and check it out.
