No.

Unless it's in Rock Band, Guitar Hero, or karaoke.

Based on my post in the Meatloaf thread, you'd expect me to say no... but I find their silliness mildly endearing, and their songs make great karaoke.

Wait... I still say no.

Karaoke is like the id of music taste

Confession: I've never done karaoke.

A year ago I would have voted "Standing here with open arms" ironically. Now, though, it's not quite so ironic. Their worst decision has been their horrifically flamboyant appearance. Musically, it's all pretty damned solid.

I. Love. Journey. LOVE.

Though only with Steve Perry. This travesty they're touring around the country right now is a disgrace.

Good god no.

Based on my past experiences with classic rock radio stations, I vote for the non-existent category of "Wait, is this Journey or Foreigner?" In other words, no.

A wiser man than I once said "there are two kinds of people in this world. Those who love Journey ironically, and those who love Journey sincerely".

Frankly, I don't know where I stand in that continuum.

If I have to hear "Don't Stop Believing" one more time in a bar...

...I say to my friend, "Man, I hate this song," then move on with my life.

Their worst decision has been their horrifically flamboyant appearance.

Easily.

...I say to my friend, "Man, I hate this song," then move on with my life.Amen. I hate Journey so much, although I do like the song "City by the Bay." But that's about it. Why the hell is the "I'd rather listen to the horrifying cries of the damned burning in Hades than Journey" not up there as an option? Because it should be one.

Clearly, you detractors have never experienced the Journey video game (http://www.arcade-history.com/index.php?page=detail&id=1227).

Steve Perry has THE most amazing voice in the classic rock era.

Steve Perry has THE most amazing voice in the classic rock era.

Agreed. And I voted open arms, basically because of Steve Perry.

I find the poll doesn't match the thread title... the thread title should be changed to Journey: Yes or Maybe?
