Most of the dialogue around this movie is definitively going to focus on what an unusual documentary it is. No talking heads, no dates or information on screen and barely any "coverage" of the milestones of Bowie's career. Instead, Morgen takes us on a stream-of-consciousness journey aided by a massive selection of Bowie footage from all ages. It absolutely works, and it's what a challenging artist like Bowie deserves. The only drawback, I guess, is that young people who don't know who he was will have to turn to another, more conventional, doc for information or good old Wikipedia.
