I'm a beardo. It's natural, easy to maintain, and compliments most faces rather well (kinda like glasses).

Been doing the beard thing for 2008.

Moustache - only suits Tom Selleck and four other people.
Goatee w/ stache - hmm a little too paedophiley for my tastes.
Goatee w/o stache - You're an arsehole. A fucking arsehole.

Prefer the clean look. However, I am most likely to be found with some scruffy 3 or 4-day old abomination.

It really depends on a man's face, age, and personality. For simplicity's sake, I would say that the greater majority of men look best clean-shaven.

I wore a full beard for 8 years, then, about a month ago, I shaved it off. It's kind of nice to be clean shaven now.

A strong 5'o'clock shadow works well for me. But with the fire department, I'm generally clean-shaven.

I pretty much have a perpetual 3 day beard. I hate shaving.

the goatee with stache is called a van dyke. the goatee without the stache is the goatee.

i can't really grow a beard, or anything that doesn't make me look like joe dirt, so i shave. i really wish i could grow a beard cause shaving blows and that would eliminate that problem. fuckin genes.

The one time I tried facial hair ended up a complete trainwreck and blade shaving tends to make me look a little too young.

I use electric razors every couple of days for a small amount of growth and it compliments my morning laziness nicely.

Oh yeah. You should add "soul patch"

Mine looks too hickish.

I need some sort of beard to keep the proportions on my overly long face in check. So I've worn a goatee for just about five years now. I flirt with the idea of a full-fledged beard now and then, but can't bring myself to see through the in-between phases.

I voted for clean shaven, especially since I can't grow any serious facial hair. I've always wanted a 'stache, but alas it will never happen. I have the curse of the Bob Costas! It would take me five years to grow any serious facial hair.

Clean shaven. I grew out my facial hair a couple summers ago. I looked stupid. If it's more than two days growth I can't look at myself in the mirror.

Soul patches are the worst. Just look at the guy in the pic.

I'm a clean shaven man. Also dig the film.

I like the beard. I grew it out a couple years ago in period of stress/laziness, liked the look and decided to keep it. I can't tell you how great it is to only have to trim it a couple times a week (which takes about 30 seconds) and never have to worry about a full shave.

I like 5 oclock shadow look best, then clean shaven, then beard.. although depends on the beard. I'm rarely fond of the others, although it works on some faces.

It's okay, neither can I

The "or" in the question is best suited to an "and" in my case.

I grow facial hair pretty quickly, so I always have a little stubble, which I like.

On other guys, I don't really care. It's so specific to each person's looks as to whether they can pull it off. I will say I do not like a moustache or a "Goatee sans 'stache."

I've been capable of growing a full beard since I was barely 12.

For about 2-3 years now I've had the goatee w/ 'stache and it suits me quite well.

I always have some stubble, I rarely look completely clean shaven, but I also don't let it grow out far enough to resemble a beard.

Lasse

I'm usually clean shaven, but once in a while I'll let it grow into a little three-week beard. I just hate shaving.

I quite enjoy shaving.

Stubble is itchy and uncomfortable.

Stubble looks a lot nicer than it feels, imo.

Currently sporting a beard. A goatee looks ridiculous on me. A mustache is for kid-touchers.

I don't think I've ever met a girl that felt otherwise.

So do I. I tried growing, uh, something, for about three weeks, and decided "you know, this is just going to make shaving a whole lot harder", and hacked the whole thing off.

Hmm...so, it's as I suspected. Having a beard makes you a better poster.

I generally rotate between goatee/'stache combo and full beard. Since summer is supposedly around the corner, the beard might sit on the shelf for a while.

I voted for other because I prefer stubble. I sometimes try to grow a beard, but once I get to about 5 days it becomes unbearably itchy so I have to shave it, but clean shaving hurts my face, so I use the attachment on my electric shaver to shave it down to stubble. So my preferred is between 1-4 days of growth.

I don't understand this.

I almost never manage to not cut myself shaving. Well, not cut, really. But there's a patch of skin on my neck that almost always bleeds when I shave. It makes the ugly process even worse.

I shave about once a week and sport the scruff most of the time.

Right now I am clean shaven, but for the past couple of months I have gone back and forth between clean shaven, beard, mustache, and the van dyke. It keeps everyone around me on their toes.
