Holy shit this film was crazy as shit. It has from the get go this feel of the sort of horror story/urban legend you'd hear at a campfire and as it goes along, it becomes more and more twisted and violent (and boy, does it go there) and yet it's presentation gives a sort of camp element which makes the darker elements (such as the body horror) easier to bear, almost as if the film doesn't take itself seriously at all times.

Visually, you have a film entirely of cutouts, which are very distinctive and very expressive which give the film that eeriness and camp that makes it such a fun watch, having this 70's or 80's obscure cult horror movie vibe. Really dug it.
