Interesting story about this film. It was made in 1982 and premiered in New Orleans. However, the director died before the film was premiered in New York and beyond and the film got lost in time until 2013 when a negative was recovered in 2013. It was digitally remastered, screened at the 2018 New Orlrans film festival and finally released in selected theaters this February. What a ride.
