A hand-drawn (on FLASH!) small little film about a small little mouse named Célestine and a bear named Ernest and how they form an unlikely friendship, it's a gorgeously looking (almost as if it had come from a children's storybook), very sweet and often really funny (particularly the gags about how sneaky Célestine is). Perfect little family film here folks.

Feeling old when I realized I watched this six years ago already. What I wrote back then:

This doesn't do enough with the setting and its eccentricities, which makes it a little too simple. That said, the relationship stuff is wonderful, the world lively, and the hand-drawn animation lovely to behold. A charmer. 8/10
