It has a couple of sweet action scenes but this is the very definition of a movie that exists.

I've watched 45 minutes of this and I don't think I can continue. Life is too short.

Well... Yeah. Talk about a captive audience.

For a couple of minutes, I forgot that Liam Hemsworth and Chris Hemsworth were two different people.

The more I thought about this movie the more I enjoyed it. The action direction is top notch and is on par with John Wick.

That first scene in the building was impressive. The car chase was impressive and the kid scene was impressive.

Maybe I was just in a foul mood.

Extremely physical combat. Hemsworth takes a helluva beating, but to the movie's credit, he actually looks battle-worn and bruised. Movie's too long though, the Harbour segment added nothing beyond predictability. Some of the movie is a bit muddy, he fights one dude forever in the beginning and then they end up as partners.

I will say this one was more thrilling and climactic than wick 2 and 3, both which became ridiculous splatfests and too in love with its cool style.

The sniper dude was the director himself. Cool.

I knew Sam Hargrave came from stunt stuff... but I just found out he was Captain America's lead stunt man in Winter Soldier. Went on to stunt coordinate Infinity War. And then ended up directing the second unit in End game. So the Russo brothers were so impressed with his advancement, that they gave him this movie to direct.

So a dude who had no business directing a full length feature movie got his break based on his work ethic. Pretty cool.

Decent enough action movie. I did love the building long take chase part where Tyler and the kid were running from the soldiers while Tyler kept shooting them all. That was cool. Probably could have been trimmed down a bit.

Decent? I thought this was way above decent if we are focusing directly on the action no?

The downtime human drama stuff is by no means embarrassing, but still way too long padding that doesn't help add intended gravitas much. Action scenes are of both consistently gnarly energy and variety enough to compensate though. 6/10
