Mild nay.

It's enjoyable enough, Bautista is a fun villain and Michelle Yeoh is reliably great. I love Zhang Jin's work but I genuinely think he was better in Ip Man 3. This film is a spin-off with his character from that film, so it's not really related to the Ip Man films at all and carries around the name for branding. It's a rote, standalone martial arts wire-fu late-period Yuen Woo-ping joint, and... it's actually better than his last few films, but that's not saying much. Yuen's recent directing efforts have been stale at best. This is passable if you just want some mindless kung-fu action to kill a couple hours, but should have been a lot better given all of the talent involved.
